The Alliance is financially supported by the Charles Leopold Mayer Foundation .
It also refers to the philosophical and programmatic framework of the foundation. The international network of military should be part of the "Network of Networks and Alliances" in oprder to participate effectively in its commitment to the establishment of a global community that takes its responsibilities and shall be managed in accordance with the principles of a new world governance, contained within the “charter of human responsibilities".
The other partners are more or less integrated in this (these) network(s) under construction and take part on a regular or on an ad hoc basis, according to their own operating principles and working methods.
In the majority of cases, this applies for partnerships of variable format, specificly concluded for events such as the meetings of Santiago de Chile (2005), of Klingenthal/France (2007) and Bishkek/Kyrgyzstan (2008).
The contribution may take the form of financial support (e.g. parenthood for participants, accommodation, catering, sponsorship, drafting and dissemination of publications, etc.), but also conceptual and idealistic support, delegation of experts and/or participants and providing documentation, facilitating by this the smooth running of projects.
Take regularly active part in this sense the Ecole de la Paix of Grenoble , the Association "Citizenship, Defense, Armed forces and Nation (CiDAN) ", the german association "Gesellschaft für Sicherheitspolitik und Wehrkunde" (GfW, Bonn), the Swiss Foundation “Johann Wolfgang Goethe (Basel)”, the Franco-German Fundation (Strasbourg), and more recently the Institute of Resources for Peace, (Irenaeus, Paris) the associationASOCACI (Colombia) and others.
