Supported by the Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation, the “International Alliance of Military for Peace in Security” develops partnerships with link-minded institutions and networks.
The International Society on Military Ethics” (ISME) is the first organisation that works on the daily ethical challenges that members of the armed forces and political stakeholders have to face. ISME brings experts, academicians and representatives of the armed forces together. The society meets once a year at the end of January, either in Washington or San Diego.
In order to better tackle the developments within the European defence community and to promote a European dialogue on best practices, a European branch of ISME – Euro-ISME has been created.
The Inaugural Conference of Euro-ISME has assembled more than 100 participants on June 16-17 at the Ecole Militaire in Paris. They decided to enrole the society in the french register of associations under french law of 1901 until a status for european associations will be created.
